Kiloview E3 is a new generation of video encoders that builds on the capabilities of our original encoder models and adds new features for video input and pass-through with HDMI up to 4K P30 and 3G-SDI up to 1080 P60, encoding HDMI and 3G-SDI video with H.265 and H.264 simultaneously or one of the two sources or a mixed video from both video sources with multiple protocols including NDI|HX2/ NDI|HX3/ SRT/ RTMP/ RTSP/ UDP/ HLS for live production, post-production, remote broadcasting, live streaming or recording in various industries. With the advanced chipset and HEVC technology, it supports streaming to 16 destinations (8 main stream, 8 sub-stream) with an adjustable bit rate of up to 100 Mbps simultaneously.
Coding of HDMI and 3G-SDI
The E3 allows you to encode video sources via one of the two 3G-SDI or HDMI ports, mix both video sources into one output in PIP or PBP mode, or even encode video sources up to 1080p60 simultaneously via both HDMI and 3G-SDI ports for high quality live streaming.
Flexible format selection
For all IP-based video transmission processes, the E3 supports the highly efficient video codec HEVC as well as H.264.
With the support of HEVC, E3 can maintain video image quality at a lower bit rate and save more than 50 % dof bandwidth.
Compatible with all protocols
For wide-ranging applications, E3 supports a full range of streaming protocols, including NDI|HX3/NDI|HX2/SRT/RTMP/RTMPS/HLS/TS over UDP/RTP/RTSP/Onvif. It can be used for live production with NDI|HX, remote production with SRT, live streaming with RTMP or HLS or any transmission with all different protocols.
Powerful streaming
The E3 can output up to 4Kp30 via its HDMI connection and up to 1080p60 via its 3G-SDI connection. With its powerful output capabilities, the E3 can feed up to 16 different platforms live simultaneously by outputting both mainstream (up to 8 channels in 1080p) and sub-stream (up to 8 channels in 720p) at adjustable bitrate, with a maximum bitrate of up to 100Mbps.
Professional-level video processing
In addition to powerful encoding performance, the E3 can also rotate/crop the output video for advanced applications and add custom overlays with images, text or other OSDs. This makes it suitable for your webcast.
Powerful audio performance, supports multi-channel audio encoding
The E3 allows you to encode audio sources via the 3.5mm line input and the embedded SDI/HDMI audio input. You can convert audio to multiple formats, including AAC, MPEG-4, MPEG-3, MPEG-2, Opus or G.711.
The E3 supports 8-channel embedded audio encoding from SDI inputs and 4-channel embedded audio encoding from HDMI inputs. Together with other features such as audio de-embedding, channel selection, alternate channel and audio output mapping, the E3 is ideal for highly efficient program production.
Reliable recording and streaming
All inputs of the E3 can be recorded in .MOV/.MP4 via 3 USB ports or NAS storage. It supports streaming and recording simultaneously for post-production and other applications.
