The Kiloview N6 HDMI/NDI converter is a bidirectional converter that supports an HDMI input (encoder) to NDI and NDI|HX with loop through for display on the monitor or the HDMI video output (decoder) from NDI and NDI|HX. The NDI converter is based on NDI SDK 5.0 and can encode and decode both NDI and NDI|HX.
Equipped with powerful features such as PoE, built-in large tally light, PTZ control, 3.5mm audio input/output, multi-channel audio and intercom functions, N6 is an easy way to access the NDI world with versatile possibilities.
2-IN-1 for NDI encoding & decoding
Kiloview N6 supports encoding/decoding of NDI High Bandwidth and NDI|HX2/3. Both NDI encoding and NDI decoding can be performed with this compact device. Switch the working mode on the user interface to your preferred mode and the device can easily support all your workflows.
In encoding mode, the N6 can encode 3G-SDI/HDMI signals into an NDI High Bandwidth/NDI|HX2/3 video stream.
In decode mode, the N5/N6 automatically adapts the NDI High Bandwidth/NDI|HX2/3 signal and outputs it via 3G-SDI/HDMI.
Audio and intercom
Kiloview N6 supports analog 3.5 mm audio inputs/outputs or embedded audio and Mic In.
It also supports voice intercom between all Kiloview devices and the control PC/phone or with the Kiloview Intercom Server.
Built-in LCD screen and touch button
The N6 is equipped with a 1.14-inch LCD screen with touch buttons for better usability. With the built-in LCD screen, you can check the connectivity, IP address, CPU, memory, resolution, temperature and tally status in real time.
Seamless switching without delay
In decoding mode, you can preset up to 9 NDI sources via the web UI and select one of them for output without the screen going black, flashing or lagging.
PTZ control
Kiloview N6 supports PTZ control via USB and serial RS232/485/422. It also supports PTZ control via IP with various protocols, no additional cable is required.
Control with a USB keyboard
In decoder mode, you can preset the NDI sources from 0 to 9. Connect the decoder to a USB keyboard and you can select the output source with a single keystroke.
You can also use the USB keyboard to control a PTZ camera - the cheapest PTZ keyboard you can get.
Power supply as required
With PoE, the N6 can be supplied with power via a single cable connection. Thanks to the wide DC input range of 5 V to 18 V, it can also be easily powered via USB or a camera battery.
